This is a booklet for a registered Angus cattle sale at Green Oak Farms near Maples in Texas County, Missouri, on 7 October 1961.  Fifty-three cattle, plus five “calves at foot” were to be sold by proprietor E. E. Martin and “guest consigner” Paul Woods.

 

This was the sixth “production sale” at Green Oaks Farms, under the direction of sale man­ager David Martin and auctioneer Col. Tony Thornton.  The sale featured the first offspring of prize bull Staley Eileenmere 403, a photograph of which is on the cover of this 24-page booklet.  Also included are photographic portraits of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Martin, and E. E. Martin and prize bull “Roscoe.”   All of the cattle are listed with their pedigrees.
