This is a souvenir booklet from the Baldknobbers Hillbilly Jamboree show at Branson in Taney County, Missouri.  The show, one of the first in Branson, featured the talents of the Mabe family.  Although undated, the booklet is believed to be from the 1970 season.

 

This 20-page illustrated booklet states that “The Hillbilly Jamboree [is] now in its 11th year,” indicating a date of about 1970, as the Mabe family organized the Baldknobbers in 1959.  There are many photographic portraits of the featured performers and their families, as well as snapshots of the theater and performances.
