These are miscellaneous papers and a Civil War diary of Frederick A. Kullman, a resident of Cole Camp, Benton County, Missouri, and a soldier in the 13th Missouri Cavalry.  His papers in­clude confirmation and emigration certificates from Bavaria, military service records, corre­spon­dence, photographs, and genealogical information on the Kullman family.  The war­time di­ary cov­ers service at Rolla and Licking, Missouri, in 1865.

 

Folder 1:  Papers, 1855-1866.

 

Confirmation and immigration certificates, military service papers, and letters to par­ents.  Some of the papers are in German, with typed English translations.

 

Folder 2:  Papers, 1888-1980.

 

Certificate of election, Benton County, Missouri, correspondence concerning Civil War service, papers regarding widows and pension of Babette Kullman, photographs of Frie­drich and Ernest John Kullman, and miscellaneous genealogical data.

 

Folder 3:  Diary, January-April 1865.

 

Accounts of service with Co. E, 13th Missouri Cavalry, at Rolla and Licking, Mis­souri.
