These are minutes of the tenth annual session of the Dixon Baptist Association.  The Associa­tion was composed of churches in Phelps, Osage, Maries, and Pulaski counties.  The tenth annual session was held at the Mount Zion Church in Osage County, 9-11 October 1884.

 

At the time of its meeting in 1884, the Dixon Association included the Beaver Creek, Cor­inth, Rolla, St. James, Liberty, Macedonia, and Mount Olive churches in Phelps County, the Mount Zion Church and the Pilot Knob Church in Osage County, Liberty Baptist Church in Maries County, and Pisgah Baptist Church in Pulaski County.

 

The annual report of the Dixon Association was removed from the records of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church.  A constituent member of the association, the Beaver Creek Church sent three members as representatives to the annual meeting.
