Topology, in particular continuum theory, hyperspaces, curves and inverse limits.

May 1988 Ph.D. Warsaw University, Warsaw, Poland. Thesis Whitney maps and their applications to hyperspace theory, Supervisor Professor Karol Sieklucki.

1976-1982 Wroclaw University, Wroclaw, Poland. Master thesis Inverse limits of smooth continua, Supervisor Professor Tadeusz Mackowiak.

Third (1981) and First (1982) Prize of the Polish Mathematical Society in the Competition of Student's Papers in Mathematics.
