Hookian Springs

The stress of a spring (Hooke's Law)

- Hookian springs follow Hooke's Law. They are perfectly elastic. This
means that:
- They never undergo a permanent deformation; they always return back to their
original length when the applied force is removed.
- A force elongation graph is a parabola.
- A Hookian spring is a part of the
Maxwell element and the
Kelvin element.
