MST-Youn Wha Ryu Club

The MS&T-YWRC is a recognized student organization that is open to all students, faculty and staff, regardless of previous martial arts experience. The club provides exercise, stress relief, self confidence, and the knowledge of self defense to all members. And most importantly, its fun! Because the Youn Wha Ryu Club is a student organization, there are no membership fees, and we are provided with funds from the student activity fee board (SAFB).

Regular classes are held every week on:

 Monday 7:00pm-8:00pm

 Thursday 9:00 - 10:30

 Saturday 11:00am-1:00pm

A normal class includes stretching, kicks, forms, self-defense and various drills to increase our speed, flexibility, and power. In addition to regular classes, there are the occasional special classes taught by a guest instructor, either someone who trains at MS&T, or an instructor from another Youn Wha Ryu school. These classes can include anything from weapons to judo training.
