Privacy and Information Security Law

Description: This course explores a variety of issues concerning the use, disclosure, and protection of information including personal, organizational, health, and financial information. The course focuses on understanding, planning, protecting, and responding to data breaches and other information risk and threats. Additional topics covered include consumer privacy, protection and use of information, the right of access to information, and the role of government in information protection and usage.
