Waraporn Viyanon

Hi… I’m Waraporn Viyanon. Normally Thai names are very long to remember and hard to pronouce but for my name it’s not too tough for people to call my first name. Anyway, I still perfer people call me my shortname, “Pon,” instead. I was born and grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. I got my bachelor degree from Srinakharinwirot University and master’s degree from Illinois State University. As my career is a university lecturer, Ph.D is a MUST. I have a chance to become a Ph.D. student at Missouri University of Science and Technology (previouly named University of Missouri-Rolla) because of many of my colleagues in Bangkok and my advisor, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Madria.
