Research Interests

      Prof. Bristow’s interests are in the theory and application of Precision Motion Control.  Applications include atomic force microscopes, micro-/nano-manipulation, and compliant mechanisms.  Control theory of interest includes iterative learning control, robust control, stochastic control, and signal processing.
