Course objective: To learn to calculate the stresses, strains and displacements for pressure vessels.
Learning objectives:
- Calculate stresses and strains on the inner and outer surfaces of spherical (0.98) and cylindrical (0.80) pressure vessels.

- Recognize difference between open and closed pressure vessels.
- Apply concept of rotated elements from chapters 12 and 13 to welded pressure vessels (0.68).
