Final Exam

The Springfield final exam will be at 8:45-10:45 AM on Wednesday, December 10 in PCTR 1030.

The Rolla final exam will be at 10:00 AM-noon on Wednesday, December 17.  Dr. Thomas' and Dr. Philpot's sections will meet in Butler-Carlton Hall 125 (civil engineering).  Dr. Libre's sections will meet in BCH 120.

According to the Student Academic Regulations all requests to change the final schedule because of conflicts or having three or more examinations scheduled on one day "are to be made in the Registrar's Office at least one week before the beginning of the final examination week.”  You will be given a letter to deliver to the instructor that is to reschedule your final.  It is not determined by your instructors.

The final exam will be comprehensive and cover material from the entire semester.  It usually has around 26 to 32 multiple-choice questions with some from each chapter, including chapter 15.  The formula sheet will be stapled to the exam.  Communication devices must be turned off and put away, and hats must be turned backwards.  Some old final exams are available on the Quizzes page.

Scores will be posted to Blackboard by Tuesday of the following week.  The official grade in JoeSS will be based on the "Class Grade" calculation found in Blackboard.  PLEASE do not email Dr. Thomas asking for your letter grade or to bargain for points.
