The Text command, the
last icon on the Draw toolbar, is used to clarify any potentially
unclear intentions in your drawing. Also, you can add text to dimensions
for things such as the depth of a hole, or to notate that a chamfer or
fillet is a common size throughout the drawing.
To create text, click the
icon and create a textbox whatever size you need it to be. If you make
the textbox too small or too large, you can resize it after you are done
typing.
You can edit various
features of the text such as the font, size, bold/underline, and
positioning. You can also add the various symbols that you see
throughout engineering drawings.
If you need to go back
and edit text at any time, select the text, right click on it, and
select Mtext Edit from the menu |
