Cones are created by selecting the center point and radius for the base, and the height. The first thing you will need to do is select a center point for the base of the Cone. Next you will be asked for the radius of the base; this is just like selecting the radius of a circle in 2D drawing. Also, you can enter the diameter, as opposed to the radius, by typing "d" into the command line. Once the base is created, enter a height. The base can be made elliptical by typing in "e" when asked for the center point of the base. From there, you can construct an elliptical base using the same methods used to create an ellipse. |
