The Pyramid is created
similarly to the cone and the cylinder; We will need a center point of
the base, a radius of the base, and the height of the Pyramid.
However, the Pyramid has one extra step over the cone and cylinder.
We need to tell AutoCAD if the base of the Pyramid is inscribed or
circumscribed about the circle that is used for the radius. By
default, the Pyramid is circumscribed, which means that the square base
lies outside of the circle used for the radius of the Pyramid. In
other words, the value you are selecting for the radius is the distance
from the center of the base to the midpoint of one of the edges of the
base. If the base was inscribed, the value entered for the radius
would be the distance from the center of the base to the corners of the
base. Next enter the value for the height of the Pyramid. |
