The Torus is basically a
donut, or inner-tube. The first step to creating a Torus is
selecting the center point. Next you will be asked for the radius of the
Torus. This radius is the distance from the center point to the center
line of the actual Torus. If you think of the Torus cross-sectionally,
it would be the distance from the center of the Torus to the center of
the circle we would see in the cross-section. Lastly, you will have to
choose the tube radius, or the radius of the actual tube.
As with many other
AutoCAD commands, you can enter the diameter of the required
information, rather than the radius, by typing "d" into the command
line. |
