Hidden and Center lines
give clarification to parts of a drawing by adding more information.
Hidden lines represent an important part of the drawing that wouldn't
actually be able to be seen due to there being another part of the
object in the way. Center lines represent the center of a circular hole.
They show that the hole is circular rather than a square cut through the
object.
To enable Hidden and
Center lines you will need to go to the Layer Properties window. Usually
you will do this while you are creating the Hidden or Center layer, and
will be here anyway. Click on that layer's line type in the layer menu,
and it will bring up the smaller window shown in the image to the right.
From here you can scroll down and select the Hidden and Center lines,
and use them in their appropriate layers.
