Our chapter has been alive at Missouri S&T since 1961. We aim to further the interest in mathematics at the collegiate level and to recognize outstanding achievement in the study of mathematics.
We also care about giving back to the community and providing an outlet for students to connect on campus through their studies.
Read a detailed history of Kappa Mu Epsilon for in-depth information on how we were formed.
We're always looking for interesting speakers to come present to our honor society on educational topics. If you'd like to be a potential speaker for us, get in contact with our vice president.
To be eligible for KME you must have a 3.0 overall GPA and:
Undergraduate Students:
Must be enrolled in a 3000 level math course with a 3.2 GPA in math or have completed a 3000 or higher level course with a 3.0 GPA in math.

Our organization cares about giving back. That's why we require our new pledges to either attend our scheduled service event or complete 8 hours of independent community service.
Need to log personal service hours? Get in contact with our current historian or download the form to submit outside hours.
Our new pledge class was recently initiated into Kappa Mu Epsilon! We're excited to welcome them into our Honor Society as new members.
