PE 360 GENERAL INFORMATION

COURSE TITLE: Natural Gas Reservoir Engineering

Office hours: Tue. and Thur.: 1.30 - 2.30 pm.

CLASS TIME/PLACE: MWF 11.00 -11.50 am, and computational lab on Wed. 1.30 pm - 3 pm.

GRADING POLICY:

The final letter grade will be determined on the following basis:

 

IMPORTANT RULES

 

1. No late homework will be accepted. All homework sets will be assingned on friday and will be due the following friday unless tests, holidays, etc. prevent this arrangement.

2. No Make-up tests will be given except under unusual circumstances and only when there was prior notification.

3. No free-hand graphs accepted. Please be forewarned because you will be severely penalized. Always use proper graph paper or software to generate your graph.

4. Use of spreadsheet is permitted and is actually encouraged.

5. If you are more than 5 minutes late to class, do not come in because it creates too much of a distraction.

6. Your weekly summary must be only one page long. It can be typed or handwritten. However, you can use smaller letters or fonts so as to fit on a page.

GROUP ASSIGNMENT SET UP

(i) There will be 3-4 students per group. Each group must work together and submit a group assignment (ii) All members must be prepared to discuss the assigments in class. (iii) For each assignment, each group must submit the percent contribution of each member.
