This photo gallery acknowledges many talented students, colleagues, and mentors who contributed to my research career.
However, had it not been for the unfailing support and understanding of my wife and children, I would not have lived to see the beginning of a new understanding of our surroundings, including the nearby star that sustains life on Earth and serves as a model for other stars in the cosmos.
