Creek CAS 3040 Tuner w/original box.

Nice FM stereo tuner, with original box, not sure if I have the manual.  I have heard that Creek tuners tend to drift.  I had it hooked into a NAD 3020 amp for my basement system where it sat on my NPR station.  Sometimes when I would power up it it would take a few seconds to settle back to the proper station, and would occasionally drift off station by .1 or .2.   And 2 or 3 times in the 15 years I owned it, it would not respond to the tuning dial.  Opening the unit and tightening the set screw on the tuning flywheel would normally take care of it.  It is in nice cosmetic condition, with just the marks on the top (pictured) from other audio gear.  I have accurately described my experiences with it, so while it is working, it is sold as-is.  No bids from anyone with private feedback, especially dak_audio.  Shipping is $10 FedEx in the lower 48.  Email with questions.
