  1. If the armature of the electric motor in the drill is initially turning with an angular velocity of o = 2 rad/s. If it is given a constant angular acceleration of = 20 rad/s2, determine its angular velocity and angular displacement when t = 3 s.

  2. At the instant shown, the angular velocity of rod BE is 4 rad/s counterclockwise. Using relative velocity, determine (a) the angular velocity of rod AD, (b) the velocity of collar D. Express all answers as magnitude and direction.

  3. In the position shown, bar AB has a constant angular velocity of 3 rad/s counterclockwise. Using instantaneous centers of zero velocity, determine the angular velocity of bars BD and DE. Express all answers as magnitude and direction.

  4. The disk has a constant angular velocity of 500 rev/min counterclockwise. Knowing that rod BD is 250 mm long, determine the acceleration of collar D when = 90o. Express the answer as a magnitude and direction.
