This lab should familiarize you with the BF3 neutron detector and let you appreciate and understand the neutron detection and counting practice.

1. Familiarize yourself with the workings of a BF3 Neutron Detector
2. Know about the neutron sources at the MST- reactor
3. Understand the process of counting thermal and fast neutrons with a BF3 detector
Lab report
Write a memo of length 2-3 pages explaining how the BF3 detector works, different kinds of shielding, and the summary of experiments you conducted at the reactor.
