Our
research group studies various multi-phase transport phenomena,
including particle suspensions, bubble dynamics, and droplet dynamics,
at the micro/nano scales, and in particular by using external fields,
such as electric, acoustic and magnetic fields, to actively control
their transport behaviors. We apply the knowledge to biotechnology,
energy, and manufacturing, and have close collaborations with diverse
research groups from Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry,
Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics.
