The number of points you obtain on this problem of the final exam can be used to replace - if larger - the number of points you obtained on problem 6 of Exam I, provided you want to participate in this 'replacement program'. In order to participate in this replacement program, you must show your Exam I paper to your Math 204 instructor on or before Wednesday, October 31 so your score on problem 6 can be recorded."
