Norwood Hall was completed in 1903. The exterior
is made of concrete spread footings and foundation, and brick
and limestone. All of the stone details such as the windowsills
are limestone. The supporting walls are of backing brick and interior
walls are latticework and plaster. Originally, the floor system
was constructed mainly of wood, with all wood floors and some
wooden supporting columns, but due to fire hazards, the floor
systems were later converted to steel-concrete construction. As
for the roof, it is wooden truss construction and originally has
slate tile roof. The roof was converted to asphalt shingling in
19--. The windows were originally single-pane wooden windows,
but were all updated to more thermal efficient aluminum windows
in 1989.
