Optimal Utilization of the Airborne Sensor System

In order to optimize performance of the airborne sensor system, there are two main areas of focus: task aggregation and scheduling. Different aggregation methods will be examined and compared, and an efficient scheduling algorithm is needed to satisfy the maximum number of tasks. This problem also contains additional parameters and constraint that must be considered, such as the quality of the image taken, timeliness in fulfilling the deadlines, cost deviation from the original pilot’s route, and the feasibility of the aircraft to satisfy from one waypoint to the next one.
