to create illustrated projects and presentations.

The Emerson Center is located on the first floor of the library. The PCs in that area are enabled for:

Other Equipment: There is a Sony Mavica digital camera available for the UMR community - students, faculty & staff - at a cost of $5.00 per day. The camera may be reserved in advance at the Circulation Desk, 341-4008; or the Library Office, 341-4227. There are a limited number of laptop computers available to UMR students, faculty & staff. They are checked out for library use only on a first come, first served basis. We cannot reserve or hold laptops, and do not honor requests for specific laptops. There is a $.20 per hour fine for overdue laptops. There are an overhead projector and a TV/VCR available for use in the library conference rooms or library study rooms. There is also a video projector and screen for presentations for use in the library conference rooms or library study rooms. You must arrange well in advance to use the projector. Study Rooms: Third floor study rooms, with the exception of room 316, are available on a first come, first served basis. There are two conference rooms on the second floor which may be reserved in advance at the Circulation Desk, 341-4008.
