About Fencing |
Official School Year Hours Official Summer Hours During the fall and spring semester, we meet every: Sunday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Aerobics room at the Multipurpose building. Currently only MS&T students, faculty, and staff are allowed to become members of
the Fencing Club, but all are welcome to come. For those new to town, the Multipurpose building is on the corner of 10th street
and N Bishop Ave. Ask for the martial arts or aerobics room. We can and do rent out epees, sabers and foils for the duration of our meetings along with the jackets, gloves and helmets.
Finally, we also have three DVDs in the University Library, under course reserve: Fencing. June 10th, 2013

About the Club
The club own and rents out the equipment, so it is not required that you bring your own.
The membership fees are $10 per semester, so $20 for the whole year
Newcomers can fence for a few nights without paying to see if they like it.
That money goes to things like buying more equipment, capital for various fundraising efforts, even a pizza party.Club Equipment
We do not rent but do use the electrical scoring equipment.
There is two training DVDs for epee and one how to repair equipment DVD.
They may be checked out with your student ID, for three days at a time.

So some old news:
The year of 2009-2010 is over. The new officers have been elected.
The new officers are as follows.
President: Zach Adams
Vice President: Alek Miller
Treasurer: Teresa Guntly
Secretary: Kelsey Bass
All hail the old officers, long live the new officers.
Now the 'new' news:
The MST Fencing club is still meeting in the summer.
The summer hours are: Monday through Saturday, 2:00PM to 3:00PM.
The broken link problem with the galleries page is now fixed.
The members page has now been updated, current members will be uploaded this fall.

First things first, sorry for the delay in updates.
Some (now old) news:
Zach and Lee competed in the Luck of the Draw Team Epee & Saber Tournament in St. Louis
Some (actual) news:
Officer elections ... tommorow. ... Again, sorry for the late update.
There is another tournament similar to the one mentioned above, again in St. Louis on the 25th of April.
Anyone intending to go should let either Zach or Lee know. We really need to know who's going since the University is covering the entry fee.
On the 24th and 30th of April, there are PRO days going on campus. The Fencing Club will be doing demonstrations, please volunteer.
