Welcome to my Web site!

This website is intended to help you understand the emphases of the Molecular Toxicology and Nanobiotechnology Laboratory at the Department of Biological Sciences of Missouri University of Science and Technology. My research focuses on four areas:

Develop nanocarrier platforms to deliver biologically active molecules in vitro and in vivo for basic science research and biomedical applications

Investigate toxicity of nanomaterials to assess risk to human health; in particular, discover physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials that govern molecular mechanisms of nanotoxicity. Findings can be used for QSAR modeling and improvement of safer design of biocompatible nanomaterials

Use bioactive scaffolds to facilitate bone repair and regeneration

         Bioaerosol transmission of indoor pathogens

Study effects of environmental estrogens such as pharmaceuticals, phytochemicals, and industrial chemicals on humans and the environment

If you are interested in my research, please contact me at huangy@mst.edu or call me at 573-341-6589.
