Abstract
Astronomical surveys can generate massive amounts of data in a short amount of time. Processing and sifting useful information from this data can be a daunting task, especially as more observatories automate their hardware. A toolset for automatically processing data and detecting variable stars is presented. This toolset is being deployed as a part of the Baker Observatory Sub-minute Survey1. The primary focus of this study is detecting short-period variability, though methods for detecting long period variability were employed as well.
