Abstract
The focus of this research is to help study the structure and composition of defects in silicon on insulator (SOI) wafers. There are two phases to the project. The first phase is preparing broad clear planar specimens for analysis using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The second phase is using TEM to identify defects present in the specimens. The project is currently in the first phase
Ashlynn Conner was born and raised in Florissant Missouri, which is a suburb of St. Louis County. Ashlynn attended St. Louis Community for several years before transferring to University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is currently working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with emphasis in Engineering Physics. After completing her bachelor degree, Ashlynn plans to get a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. |
