sketch his/her stress-strain curves on the whiteboard.
- List the mechanical
properties for your research group's A36 steel sample.
- Compare the properties and
stress-strain curve for the
second object to those of the steel sample.
- Was it stronger? Weaker?
- Did it stretch more? Less?
- Which fracture was louder?
- Did the fracture surfaces look
alike?
- Find at least three things that were either not performed or performed incorrectly
according to ASTM E8 during the
A36-steel test.
