S-STEM Scholarship
The S-STEM scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance and experiential learning opportunities to academically-talented
students. The program offers students the opportunity to engage in enlightening research that enables them to learn about the research process,
expand their knowledge in an area they're interested in, and explore the possibilities of graduate school. Additionally, the program assists scholars
with obtaining internships and full-time employment. For more details about the program, contact Dr. Sedigh Sarvestani at

Award
- Several scholarships will be awarded
- Scholarship receipients will receive up to $10,000 per year:
- Spring: $4,000
- Summer: $2,000*
- Fall: $4,000
- *Contingent upon enrollment in at least one summer class or one hour of research
Eligibility
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
- Demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA
- Must have completed at least 30 hours towards degree program
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Enrollment as a full-time student persuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Must agree to participate in all program activities, including post-graduation surveys
Program Activities
- Creation of a portfolio for each student
- Mentorship by faculty members and scholars from previous cohorts
- Two-day boot camp in August
- Engagement in multidisciplinary research
- Attendance and participation in weekly meetings
- Participation in a summer internship after first year
